On November 20, 2014, President Obama announced a series of executive actions on immigration. Among these actions is the expansion of eligibility for provisional waivers of unlawful presence.

President Obama expands access to citizenship

On November 20, 2014 President Obama announced a series of executive actions on immigration. Among these actions are changes in policy intended to promote and increase access to the naturalization process through which lawful permanent residents can apply to become U.S. citizens.
